Ultratrace Portable Total Gaseous Mercury Vapor Analyzer Gardis-7
Modular design
Gardis-7 has been built as a portable analyzer with a convenient handle (at the side) to carry. Possible 19' rack mounting is an option.
Calibration device (mercury vapor dosing device) Model GA-730 and mercury analyzer are built as separate units. This means that the known mercury doses of as low as a few picograms, are injected into the analyzer from outside.
The dosing device features four different modes: by-pass (ambient air supply to the analyzer), zero-air supply to the analyzer, and programmable Hg vapor doses injected into the analyzer against zero-air or against ambient air for the standard-addition method. The dosing against zero-air or with standard-addition method can be easily switched in between.
The benefit of the modular design is that in case of the use of any protective filters or experimental setups coupled to the mercury analyzer, the known mercury doses, as well as the zero-air supplied from the dosing device, would pass through the filters or experimental setup prior to reaching the analyzer detector. In case of filters in question (introducing blanks) to the incoming air or to absorb part of incoming mercury, this would be immediately seen on the calibration results and the filters can be recommended to be fixed or replaced. In this way, the performance of the system „protective filter, experimental setup + mercury analyzer“ is always under control.
Remote control
A possibility for a remote control for distant applications (such as Air Pollution Control stations etc.): all internal analyzer parameters and measurement data can be remote controlled and monitored via access through the Internet.
Data logger
The analyzer can be run in a stand-alone mode without a PC in which case the data is saved to a USB memory stick (CSV format).
In case the analyzer is run with connected PC, then each measurement result is immediately saved both to the USB - memory stick and to a PC by the advanced “Gmonit” Windows progam, providing the user with the double safety of the data and additional control flexibility.
In each case, all main detailed measurement parameters and a every thermogram of each measurement are saved allowing later check-up and verification of the results.
